When Toyota's Gazoo Racing division set out to build a homologation special for the WRC, the result was nothing short of a phenomenon. The GR Yaris RZ High Performance arrived not as a performance variant, but as a purpose-built rally weapon, a direct line between motorsport engineering and public road. Compact, ferocious, and deeply intentional, it immediately rewrote what a hot hatch could be.

This 2021 example is presented in Super White II, a clean and purposeful finish that lets the Tom's full body kit do the talking, sharpening the GR Yaris' already aggressive silhouette into something altogether more focused. Riding on BBS RE-V7 forged aluminium rims, the visual stance is resolved with the kind of hardware that belongs on a podium.

Inside, the standard leather and Alcantara interior retains its factory-spec integrity, while a JBL sound system adds a considered layer of refinement. The 6-speed manual is paired with a short shifter for a more direct, mechanical connection between hand and gearbox. Exactly the relationship this car was built around.

Under the hood, Toyota's G16E three-cylinder turbocharged engine has been carefully breathed on. A BMC drop-in filter, Japan Evolution dump and mid pipe, and TRD catback full set sharpen throttle response and amplify the exhaust note without compromising drivability. H&R springs, Endless brake pads all round, and Goodridge steel hoses complete a chassis setup tuned for confidence at every corner.

The GR Yaris RZ is already one of the most celebrated driver's cars of its generation, a limited-run machine that will only grow in significance. This example sits at the intersection of factory intent and thoughtful enhancement. The next custodian won't just own a car — they'll carry forward a piece of modern motorsport legacy.
