Born from Honda's motorsport lineage and honed through decades of high-revving philosophy, the Integra Type-R represents the purest expression of the company's engineering ethos — natural aspiration, chassis balance, and a driver connection that few cars have matched. The DC5 generation refined that formula with a stiffer body, wider track, and suspension geometry drawn directly from racing, cementing the Type-R badge as one of the most coveted in the Japanese performance canon.

This 2005 example, presented in Championship White, the colour most synonymous with the Type-R's motorsport identity. With all original body panels and wheels intact, it complements the clean, purposeful lines that defined the DC5 from the outset remain undisturbed, preserving the visual intent of a car that was always built with one purpose in mind.

Inside, the cabin retains its original Recaro SR7, Momo Race steering wheel, and Momo gear knob (With factory components kept in reserve). Original Type-R floor mats and Spoon mirrors complete an interior that sits at the intersection of period-correct authenticity and considered, driver-focused curation.

Beneath the bonnet, a Hondata K Pro ECU tuned on Ron 97 leads a thoughtfully developed engine bay. RRC FD2R intake manifold, Mugen full exhaust, and Hybrid Racing supporting hardware were installed to enhance the performance of the K20A. Chassis work is equally comprehensive: BC BR coilovers, Carbing strut bar, J's Racing RCA, Hardrace rear camber arms, and Dixcel brakes. A complete, cohesive build across every dynamic discipline.

Two decades on, the DC5 Type-R holds a firmly established place in the collector conversation. Values are moving, supply is tightening, and examples built to this standard are increasingly hard to find. You could be its next custodian.
