1973 Mini Moke
.png)
Before the Moke became a cultural icon, it began as a utilitarian vision — a stripped-back, go-anywhere vehicle born from the same A-Series lineage as the original Mini. Simple by design and radical by nature, the Mini Moke carved its own identity far removed from convention, becoming a symbol of freedom, sun-soaked adventures, and a certain irreverent spirit that no other vehicle has quite managed to replicate.
This Australian delivered 1973 Mini Moke has been taken back to the bare metal and rebuilt from the ground up, a genuine nuts and bolts restoration that leaves nothing to chance. Finished in Pastel Blue, the tone is breezy and period-correct, wearing its heritage lightly while drawing every eye in a car park full of far more expensive machinery.
The cabin, if you can call it that, stays true to the Moke's open-air ethos, folding chairs wrapped in grey weatherproof material, an original Smiths mechanical speedometer, and nothing between you and the world but the wind. It is purposefully unfiltered, and all the better for it.
Underneath, the 1.3L A-Series engine breathes through twin SU carburettors and exhales through a sport headers and exhaust, giving this Moke a character and bark well beyond its modest dimensions. A 4-speed manual, front AP Racing brakes, and adjustable coilovers matched with 13-inch Hayashi Street wheels complete a setup that is both mechanically sound and subtly well-considered.
The Mini Moke doesn't ask to be taken seriously. It asks to be driven, enjoyed, and passed on. Increasingly scarce in restored condition and growing steadily in collector appreciation, this is a rare opportunity to become the next custodian of something genuinely irreplaceable.
